Red Velvet

My scenic Design for Red Velvet. The director wanted a scrim to help convey the passage of time between Ira's current state and the memories that we see in the story. With the show taking place majorly on an empty stage I wanted to find ways to make the set interesting, and did so by using furniture that felt period, and looked aesthetically pleasing. I designed the show as well as assisted in painting the set and furniture.
