Spring Awakening

My set for Spring Awakening. I wanted the set to feel like the walls of the academia were closing in around the children in the play. The director wanted to use blackboards as a way to distinguish different scenes, as well as using the chairs to serve multiple purposes, such as being tombstones. We also used a scrim to conceal the live band unless they were performing. For this show I designed the set, aided in the building, and painting of the set, as well as designed the images and programmed the projections.
